Marymount California University (Biology)
Hey there, my name is Ashley. I am a junior at West LA College planning on transferring to Marymount California University. One of my favorite subjects is English and I continuously read and write and try to expand my vocabulary. I absolutely love to read and I always encourage students to do so as well. I tutored for the Boys and Girls Club for about a year for students in various grades (3rd-11th) in reading and comprehension, spelling/vocabulary and writing skills for tests and essays. I am willing to tutor anyone that needs the help or just wants to brush up on their skills. I work very well and am very patient with all levels of reading, writing and comprehension. I have no problem meeting students either at their home or a library or coffee shop, whichever is most convenient. Hope to meet with you soon! Happy reading! Hey there, my name is Ashley. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
