Hey Everyone. My name is William and I've been tutoring the SAT for the past 5 years. As a young guy myself, I work very well with high school students and aim to go above and beyond by giving advice on scholarship and college applications. Whenever working with students, I give the first session free so that students can get accustomed to my teaching style. I also prefer tutoring online especially with the technology and resources available. However, I am also available in the NYC/NJ/PA area.
I'm very willing to negotiate on price and work with students with all types of needs. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions and I'll respond as soon as possible. All of my students have increased their scores by at least 200 points and I plan on continuing the tradition! I tutor all sections (Critical Reading, Math and Writing). I typically like to start off by giving a diagnostic exam and then evaluating which sections to focus on depending on the student. I typically work out of the College Board SAT book which is the standard book used to practice for the SAT. I myself was tutored by Kaplan in high school and I have adapted many methods from them to help my students. In addition to this I worked for a small tutoring company in the Central NJ area as well (Susan's Tutoring Company). Looking forward to working with you!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
