I have been a creative writer for many years. My true passion is to write short stories, poetry, and screenplays. I am also working as a freelance writer and copywriter where I have published many articles on the internet. I am also an experienced English Literature and ESL teacher in Los Angeles where I taught at the secondary lever for almost eleven years. I currently have three poems and a short story that have been published with Five Poetry magazine and North 2 South Press magazine. Additionally, I have many works published online with different blog sites.
I have decided to start tutoring because I like to help people out. During my years as a teacher, I enjoyed helping teenagers with their education. Now, away from the education field, I kind of miss that aspect. Yes, I have decided to chase my dream as a writer, but teaching is still in me. Every year, I volunteer to coach soccer with AYSO in Culver City because I just love to teach.
Anyway, I hope my long bio has not bored you in any way. By reading this, I hope that you give me a chance to help you with your English homework or whatever it is that you need help with regarding English.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
