Bio

Hi, I'm Nicole and I have been a math teacher for 7 years. During this time I have taught 7th - 10th grade math. I have my bachelors degree from Eastern Michigan University in Physical Education and Mathematics. I have taught at schools where most of the students there are struggling to reach the current grade level work. I spend countless hours before and after school to help them work through the math (and learning) challenges they may face.

Hi, I'm Nicole and I have been a math teacher for 7 years. During this time I have taught 7th - 10th grade math. I have my bachelors degree from Eastern Michigan University in Physical Education and Mathematics. I have taught at schools where most of the students there are struggling to reach the current grade level work. I spend countless hours before and after school to help them work through the math (and learning) challenges they may face.

I became a teacher because I myself had a hard time learning the traditional way in school. I love to keep working with a student until "the light bulb turns on" and hear them say how they get it! There is always a way to learn and apply math concepts and with the right method I will help my students see that!

With having multiple years of experience teaching these levels of math, I can assure that you will be successful in learning and retaining the information to apply in any situation needed!

This is a crazy time for school and I am super excited to help anyone who needs just a little more time and focus to become successful!

Since having lessons with Nicole for the past 2 months, my son has raised his grade from 74% to 82%. We are very happy working with Nicole! She is amazing and goes above and beyond to make sure he understands the material.

I was very impressed at Nicole’s patience and dedication to teach my son. During the very first session, she created an outline for learning and a lesson plan. She is very easy to communicate with and listened to me talk about the concerns I had for my son’s struggle with math. My son took a test in school a few days after his first session with Nicole and was able to raise his test score percentage by 30%. We look forward to more sessions
