My son just finished his first year of college at Cal Poly Pomona majoring in Civil Engineering. He decided to go to summer school and is taking variable calculus and vector statics. It's tough to locate good tutors and I was worried about finding a tutor with an engineering background that could help him in preparing for finals. Erol was the perfect tutor having an exceptional educational and practical background in engineering along with great easy to understand teaching skills. He also has a good personality and was absolutely the perfect tudor for my son and someone I would strongly recommend.

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have obtained a PhD in mechanical/aerospace engineering. These areas are most heavily populated with math subjects. Math is the foundation for engineering. I have been math oriented all of my life. And I taught several math courses at 3 universities in CA.

During the last 4 years I was responsible for the personal and technical (career) development of about 120 young engineers. I fed these group with daily inputs (technical and procedural) for 4 years. To each of them, I gave a yearly skill (career) development test (some of them several times, total possibly 200+ times, watching their progress).

I reviewed well over 50 resumes and interviewed 12+ people for positions in the company.

In the past I taught well over 50-100 classes at 3 universities in California. I have had learning development experience with possibly over 2500 students.

First, Mechanical (my present tutoring) and Civil Engineering have two areas of subjects in common. Strength of materials leading to structures, and fluid mechanics. While saying structures, this also includes dynamics and vibrations which are common.

Secondly, recently in the end of 2015 and start of 2016, I took all the Civil Engineering PE exam review courses at IIT. Although there was nothing I did not understand in all these, I intend to tutor in Fluid Mechanics, Strength of Materials & Structures and Basic Cost Analysis. I have been doing structural analysis in industry for 25+ years. Also, my present student Ylan's son is a Civil Engineering student already.

I have a PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering. I taught 10+ years at 3 universities in California, CSULB, CSUN, and Northrop University, in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering areas. During this time, I had possibly well over 2500+ students in my many classes (well over 50). In addition to engineering classes, I also taught several math classes, like advanced engineering analysis, numerical analysis which included partial differential equations, etc. I supervised 14 MS theses (based on partial differential equations) and got these theses completed in time.

I have a PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering. I am California registered Professional Mechanical Engineer. I taught 10+ years at three universities in California, CSULB, CSUN, and Northrop University in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering areas. I like helping younger people to achieve their objectives. I am very patient instructor and will take you step by step through the difficulties to success.

I would be best in thermodynamics (I taught 12+ times), heat (I taught 5+ times), mechanics of materials (5+ times) and mechanics/dynamics (16+ times).
