About Robert

For the past two years I have been helping other students in math and lately physics. As of right now, I am in Calculus III and Electricity and Magnetism Physics. My previous experience with tutoring students has been only in math classes such as Intermediate Algebra, Precalculus, and Calculus I.

The thing I love the most about tutoring is making sure that students understand math better. While hearing that I might have helped a student score a better grade on a test, the thing I love to hear the most is that a student has gained a better understanding of the material. So overall, I love to tutor so that more people can understand all the benefits and things math has to offer.

I have completed all math courses from Algebra 2 to Calculus 1 all with A's and Honors Calculus 2 with a B. For Calculus 1 I was in the honors Calculus 1 class and received an A. I am one courses away from earning my Associates in Mathematics as well. Right now I am currently enrolled in Calculus 3, so while I am tutoring I still practice Calculus everyday.

Last semester I was enrolled in my college's Physics for Engineering where it emphasized is on mechanics (classical physics). I finished the class with a B. I have also taken an Engineering course on statics (Forces in Equilibrium) which deals with torques (moments) which is also taught in Physics and Calculus 3.

I am willing to help many hours of the day, and including many hours of the night. I can help through Wyzant's online services. I will do my best answer your questions and to help you acquire a better understanding of mathematics and/or physics. Thank you.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Calculus

I completed honors calculus 1 with an A and honors calculus 2 with a B recently.

Precalculus

I received an A in Honors Pre-Calculus in college and tutor part time with students for various math subjects (including Pre-Calculus).
