I am a 11th and 12th grade English teacher who specializes in writing and test prep. I have an undergraduate degree in Literature and Rhetoric from Binghamton University and a graduate degree in education from Fordham University.
I have been an effective college writing adviser; I assist students with drafts for college admission essays and scholarships. I own a company that develops online courses for the writing components of college admissions. Thus, I have experience with teaching the science of success with the art of writing.
In recent years, I have worked as a local news journalist, and I also won an award for my honors thesis. I have been able to effectively utilize my experiences with higher-level writing to help students who would like to become better writers.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have a BA in English Literature and Rhetoric, a MST in Teaching English to Adolescents, a TEFL certification (Teachers of English as a Foreign Language), and I own an essay advising business for the writing components of college admissions.
I run workshops and seminars for students and for teachers during professional days. I am a motivational speaker for an international group called Inspire. I tutor individuals who are attempting to revise their work for Tedx conferences. I have an undergraduate degree in Literature and Rhetoric.
