I love to study, and I believe that my passion for teaching comes from it. I have taught at a college level and at elementary school level as well. I have two degrees, one in Advertising and Communications, and another in Psychology. I am a native Spanish speaker. I believe that hard work, and the right strategy for each student will make him/her reach their goals, and improve their grades and scores. I love to see smiley faces when they are able to do something that it was a bit difficult at the beginning. Not only is a feeling of accomplish for them but a feeling of satisfaction for me!
I work as a Spanish teacher. I teach elementary school kids, and I tutor elementary, middle school and high school kids. Each student is unique and whether I am working with a kindergarten student, who is learning the alphabet, or a high school student who is working in an essay, my main goal is to keep the student challenge and interested, but not overwhelmed. I like my students to have a positive experience learning Spanish, and in my class there are songs, games, crafts, etc. All of them age appropriate. One of the first things that I work on is in teaching the students to let go the fear of speaking in another language. This approach have been very rewarding to me. I have seen the shiest students in a class, or in a tutoring lesson became fearless and active participants.
I do assign homework, and occasionally I like to check their progress with small assessments. I try to be flexible with my time, and if there is a cancellation I offer make up sessions.
As a teacher I have to pass a background/fingerprinting check. I have the documents, and I will be glad to show them to you.
I look forward to hearing from you and help you or your kids reach their goals in their studies.

She explained everything really well and helped me get ready for my tests. She is a nice and good tutor.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
A little bit about me. I have taught Spanish for over 8 years know. I am a native Spanish speaker, and I hold two college degrees. One in Advertising and Marketing, and the other in Psychology. After my son was born, I decided to work in something that permits me to be around him, so I decided to tutor. I also work part time teaching Spanish at a local private school.
