As an experienced elementary teacher, I have developed a passion and personal commitment to helping my students succeed. I believe I have the skills and training to tutor a student as not only do I possess a Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential but also an English Learner Authorization from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
I also hold a Florida Educator’s Professional Certificate in Elementary Education (Grades K-6) and Primary Education (Age 3—Grade 3) along with an ESOL Endorsement from the Florida Department of Education. Further, I have a double bachelor’s degree and several years of experience teaching in public and charter schools in Florida. As I moved from Florida last year currently I work with Irvine, Saddleback Valley and Laguna Beach Unified School District as a substitute teacher. Further, I have tutored my sons who now attend UCLA and UCI.
I have lots of patience and I always treat students with respect and a friendly attitude. I also possess excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. I am reliable, punctual, self-motivated. My greatest strengths include inspiring and motivating students and boost their self-confidence and self-esteem. Furthermore, I constantly endeavor to establish a good rapport with all students and make certain that they receive sufficient praise and positive reinforcement. I have a strong passion to educate young minds and help them blossom into well-rounded, responsible, and successful individuals.
As a result of my working in the corporate sphere for over a decade at top, middle, and lower management levels; I possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, critical or high-level thinking skills, solid problem solving ability, an ability to work well with others, and an attitude to remain flexible and accommodating; all of which enable me to foster meaningful relationship with my students and parents.
