My name is Kate, and I would love to help you out with graphic or website design or photography. I have been practicing those subjects for several years and have gone through numerous classes to become proficient.
I started as a "Myspace Layout Site" way back in the day, designing banners and graphics for user profiles. I decided to advance my knowledge by learning code and developing a Myspace layout with CSS from scratch. I became very comfortable with editing codes and designing graphics and became very popular off of it. I knew from then, that I was going to do it for the rest of my life.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I've used InDesign through my 4 years at college. I've used it for pamphlets, magazine design, and catalogs. I've learned a lot about which tools can do what, and I've mastered the typography skills that InDesign has to offer as well.
I've used Dreamweaver for about 3 years now and took a class in it in college. I've also designed numerous websites from scratch in Dreamweaver and have used Spry and jQuery as well. I know CSS and HTML and have used the live mode as well as viewing my coding in a web browser.
I've taken many classes in middle school, high school, and college. I will be getting my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design in the Spring of next year. I've done two internships and worked with different clients to help gain experience with what I want to do as a career.
I started as an amateur photographer, and quickly fell in love with it. I've gone through many different cameras, and worked myself up to a Canon Rebel t2i a few years ago. I've done paid gigs before, along with free photo shoots of my friends, and everyone I shoot loves the photos I take.
