UCSC (Chemistry B.S.)
I've been a mathematics and general science tutor for the better part of the past decade. I worked for Cabrillo community colleges math learning center for several years and currently I'm employed through Cambridge learning center located in east San Diego. I recently graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry and during my time there I privately tutored both high school and college students alike.
Currently I'm looking forward to starting a career and taking the GREs for grad school admission. I'm patient, careful, and well experienced in teaching in a large volume of subjects. If you require help I'm there for you.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have 4 years of experience tutoring for a community college's Math Learning Center.
I also have tutored general sciences privately for 3 years.
I was a Chemistry major at UCSC where I also did research for their chemistry department.
I worked in the Chemistry Stockroom at Cabrillo Community College helping to set up experiments.
At Cabrillo Community College I passed differential equations with above average marks and tutored this subject for their math learning center when the need presented itself. I spent 2 years teaching this subject to others.
During my time Cabrillo Community College, I completed the year long organic chemistry course at an above average standing. After which I helped a plethora of students to understands the concepts of resonance, aromaticity, and synthesis; Diels Alder, Michael's, and Heck reactions just to name a few. Recently I completed the advanced Organic Chemistry course at UCSC again with good marks which reinforced my prior knowledge.
