Hi, my name is Daniel, and I am a UC Berkeley graduate (class of '11), SAT perfect scorer, and test preparation expert. I have over ten years of experience as a private tutor, specializing in SAT, ACT, GRE, and GMAT preparation as well as college admissions consulting. I have also helped students excel in Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, and Statistics courses. I have perfect scores on the SAT I/SAT II math and scores in the top 10% on all sections of the GRE.

My passion for teaching math started at Westview High School, where I volunteered as an after-school tutor. I love teaching because helping students improve and achieve their academic goals is very rewarding. I strive to help students become independent learners through building confidence in mastering the material. I engage and motivate students through providing positive feedback and encouragement. I tailor my teaching approach to the student's unique learning preference, and I encourage strong study habits that the students will retain throughout their academic careers and beyond.

I live in the University City neighborhood of San Diego, and enjoy swing dancing, live music, and reading about new technologies.
