I have devoted my working life to helping people of all ages succeed. Children, teens and adults. I possess a BA in History with a minor in English Literature plus a Masters Degree in Library and Information Science. I worked for the County of Los Angeles Public Library System as a Children's, Teen & Adult Services Librarian--I can teach young reluctant readers to read better.

Over the years, I offered many, many Events and Seminars to students including Writers Workshops, College Application Workshops, SAT & ACT, and AP Workshops. I've used my expertise to assist elementary and middle school and high school students with writing, English, reading and grammar.

I also assist college students with their undergraduate and masters program needs. Helping ESL students is another of my specialties. I also am familiar with various standardized tests such as the SAT, ACT, & GED.

I am a published writer and have worked as an advertising copywriter. I can help you improve your writing skills. I am punctual and reliable. I look forward to working with you and helping you attain success in your school and employment career.

Knowledgeable and patient tutor

Richard was instrumental in establishing the current level of reading and writing and help us define the needed intervention for improving the ELA skills for our son. We would highly recommend Richard to other families.
