I am a dedicated teacher, supportive mentor and creative UC researcher

Dear Student, dear Parent,
let me introduce myself really briefly and describe my competency in a few words.

Currently, I am an Assistant Project Scientist at the University of California, Irvine (UCI).
I have participated and finished 5-years of the Postdoctoral Fellow program at UCI in the Department of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. My specialization is in Molecular Biology and Neurobiology with emphasis on neurodegeneration during various diseases.
In 2013, have obtained a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology at the Institute of Immunology of Christian Albrechts University in Kiel, Germany.
In 2010 I graduated with my second M.Sc. in Biotechnology at the University of Silesia, Katowice, Poland from the Department of Microbiology.
In 2007 I have obtained my first M.Sc. in Biology at the University of Silesia, Katowice, Poland from the Department of Genetics. Before (2005) I have graduated with a B.Sc. in Biology at the Department of Genetics (Silesian Univesity in Poland).

I have specialization in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Genetics, Biochemistry since I have a double master in Biology and Biotechnology and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology. Moreover, since 2018 I am a summer session teacher of M122 Microbiology course at the Univesity of California, Irvine and I have mentored already over 23 undergraduate students at UCI during their research programs.

I am a trilingual teacher, a dedicated mentor, and a creative instructor.
I am a native polish language speaker. My husband is German, so I do speak fluently German for over 12 years. I have been learning English since I was 8 years old.
Currently, I am raising my infant baby-boy trilingual.
