I have extensive experience as a Teaching Assistant for college students and have experience with elementary-high school age students as well. I work with a diverse array of students of all ages and can help students further develop their academic skills outside then classroom- all through online lessons!

I'm qualified to tutor in a wide variety of subjects, but the following are my areas of expertise:
-Proofreading/editing for essays, résumés, or any written work. I have edited everything from college essays to a speeding ticket appeal letter. If it's written (or in the works), I can help.
-Personal statements for all levels of higher education. I've worked with students applying as first-time undergraduates, transfer students, and an array of graduate and PhD programs, including: master's in engineering, law school, medical school (osteopathic and traditional medicine), dental school, master's in speech-language pathology, PhD in psychology, and doctor of physical therapy. My students live all across the US and have applied to both state and private schools. I also have experience helping my students apply for competitive scholarship and study abroad programs.
-Spanish: As a native English speaker who is fully bilingual and has spoken Spanish since age 8, I know how to teach Spanish because I know how to learn it. Grammar is my primary area of expertise, as I have studied it since childhood and have taken Advanced Grammar and Spanish Linguistics courses at the college level. Spanish is one of my favorite subjects to tutor, and I work primarily with high school and college students.

I take a personal interest in helping every student I work with achieve his or her maximum potential. I make myself as available as possible to my students, and always make a point of pushing my students while still being supportive and encouraging. I encourage you to look at my ra

An absolute gem! Best tutor you'll ever have, no doubt.

Chelsea is one of the sweetest people I have ever gotten to know! I’m currently applying to medical school and came across her profile during a time when I wasn’t even sure what I was doing. Chelsea helped me gain confidence during the process by encouraging me through writing and aided me in finding my true voice. She’s efficient when it comes to communicating, editing, and overall turnaround of edited work. She makes sure that your voice is heard and that her edits encompass true, genuine advice. I am truly grateful for Chelsea and all the work she has put forth in aiding me through this challenging process. I will gladly be reaching out to her in the future on any other work I will need help with! I highly recommend her for any and all of your academic and professional work.

Great College Essays Tutor

As a current high school student working on 16 college applications and essays, I really recommend current and future students applying to colleges to work with Chelsea. Chelsea has been an amazing tutor and editor. Her suggestions and edits are always so helpful, and what I most love about her is that when Chelsea edits she doesn't get rid of her student's voice and writing style but just heightens the essays by fixing grammar and some wording. Chelsea is always very quick to return essays back and is very patient with me. I seriously recommend Chelsea, she has made the college application process for me a lot less stressful and I don't know if I would have been able to complete all my applications without her!
