I received my Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2010 from UCLA through which I have taken many advanced level math and science courses. Previously, I have worked performing research in biotechnology; testing and developing cancer therapeutics. Also over the last five years, I have been tutoring students part-time at all levels of high school math and science. In doing so, I have become very passionate about teaching, such that I have transitioned from the biotechnology industry into a full-time teaching career. Having a background in research and technology, I try to relate high school course material to real world situations to inspire students and make the learning meaningful, with the goal of encouraging students to study hard and pursue exciting careers in the future.
I am very passionate about mathematics and its application to solving problems in science and engineering. I have taken many advanced mathematical courses to earn my degrees and enjoy sharing this knowledge with my students.
I look forward to working with you to help achieve your goals and prepare for the future!
