University of Southern California (Biological Sciences)
I just graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Biological Sciences. During school, I completed the full pre-medical curriculum and I am currently waiting in the medical school application cycle to find out where I will be attending this upcoming fall. I specialize in tutoring mainly the subjects covered on the MCAT, which includes Chemistry, Physics, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Psychology and Sociology. I can also teach any of these subjects at the high school level as well as mathematics up to Calculus.
Medicine is my passion and my calling. I hope to one day become an emergency medicine physician in order to treat the underserved population of my community. The word doctor is derived from the Latin word docco, which means "to teach" and I believe that teaching others will not only prepare me for my future career but will also provide me with the emotional fulfillment that comes with helping others.
My tutoring experience includes one on one tutoring in undergraduate molecular biology, chemistry and genetics. I am currently being trained by The Princeton Review to become a classroom MCAT tutor which potentially could mean I will be lecturing a classroom of around 40 students. I am willing to work with individuals or groups of students and I am confident my knowledge of the material and my passion to teach others will help anyone get the grade they want to receive and understand course material that they are unclear on.
I received a 519 on my September 2016 MCAT exam with a split of 131/128/130/130. I can teach any of the 4 sections, but I prefer to mainly teach the hard science sections and psychology/sociology section.

Arman coached my son through a task that had a hard deadline with poise, confidence, and kindness. Very much appreciate Arman modelling how to successfully work under pressure!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Received BS degree from USC in Biochemistry. Scored 97th percentile on MCAT Biology and Biochemistry section.
I got my BS in Biochemistry from USC and scored a 99th percentile on the MCAT Section for Chemistry.
I received my BS in biological sciences from the University of Southern California and recently have taken the new 2015 version of the MCAT. I received a score of 519 total which is 98th percentile overall. On the Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Physics section I received a 131/132 and on the Biochemistry and Biology section I received a 130/132. I have extensive experience tutoring Genetics, Molecular Biology and Chemistry.
I received a 131/132 on the MCAT Chemistry portion and have completed both Chemistry and Organic Chemistry courses at the undergraduate level. I received an A grade in each of the 4 semesters of Chemistry that I have taken. I believe that we should take a personalized approach for each student, especially for a subject like organic chemistry that cannot be mastered with simple, rote memorization.
Completed courses in basic and advanced Physiology, as well as Neuroscience and Neurophysiology. Scored in the 97th percentile on the MCAT biology and biochemistry section.
