I have been a college professor for over 14 years teaching history and culture of many western and eastern societies. I also teach ESL and Vietnamese language at World Relief and SHINE Project. As a teacher, I particularly pay attention and inspire students who are challenged in language and test taking. Twice I was nominated to be "Who is Who in America" by reputable publishing company due to my personal, economic, and academic accomplishment. I was elected to be in the leadership team promoting the Vietnamese culture as well as bridging the gap of understanding to the host country. Public speaking and writing have always been my strength. I regularly contribute to the revision of Asian History text book, and outline Asian Civilization courses of teaching. I am currently writing Vietnamese History and Culture text book.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
