I have a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering. And I love to share my knowledge in math and chemistry with students of all levels and help them to stand out. Over years, I have held a number of positions in both academia and industry as a postdoctoral scholar, an instructor, and a senior research scientist. In Feb 2016, I won the award of excellence in mentoring at the University of California, Irvine. His method of teaching was also recognized by The Florida Energy Research Consortium, while being an instructor at the University of South Florida.
One of the most rewarding parts of an academic career is engaging students in learning and watching them grow. As teachers, it is our responsibility to give our young the opportunity and freedom to deliberate over problems in new and different ways and to guide them in such a way that they can improve themselves without ever feeling insignificant. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
