About Anitha

I am a licensed attorney with an LL.M from the University of Southern California (USC).

Currently, I am a professor of law at USC. Although I enjoy teaching a large classroom of students, I equally enjoy meeting with students one-on-one.

I have worked extensively with student athletes while attending the University of Southern California. While at USC, I tutored athletes in all of their writing and pre-law classes. Soon after graduation, I continued tutoring high school, college, and graduate students. A majority of my students struggle with learning disabilities and need special attention.

I have also tutored international students and understand the difficulties they face with the U.S. education system. Often this relates to difficulty in understanding the given material and/or having to produce work in English. I have worked with adult students, who find my study methods easily adaptable to their own schedule and learning methods.

Currently, I tutor students in law, international business, international trade, contracts, torts, criminal law and procedure, and with bar exam preparation.

To me, tutoring is something I enjoy doing outside of my regular job. I am very passionate about learning and academia and hope to one day teach pre-law at the college level. I am more than willing to work around your schedule and act as a friend and a confidante for you or your child.

I usually respond within 5-6 hours. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to working with you in the near future.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Bar Exam

I have passed both the New York and California bar exams (on my first attempt) over the last two years. I currently tutor a student who is preparing for the baby bar and have helped other students in the past study for the bar. I enjoy tackling complicated situations, similar to the bar and have an insider's perspective on common testable areas.

Would Highly Recommend to Anyone! — Anitha was a beacon of light at the end of the darkest tunnel. I go to law school and found Anitha less than a week before my Contracts final. Working on the job search, networking, and the heavier workload threw me through a whirlwind. From being completely lost in the class, Anitha helped me see the big picture of the course. She helped me everyday go over old exams, with an emphasis on articula ...
