Hello! I'm a licensed and active CPA in California with over 4 years of teaching experience as a private tutor, university staff tutor, and Supplemental "SI" Instructor. My areas of expertise include audit standards, all levels of undergrad accounting courses (including financial, managerial, cost, advanced, tax and audit subjects) and personal finance courses. I also have experience with business writing (including technical memos) and resume writing/review for undergraduates looking to enter the professional accounting market post-grad.

I received my AA in Business Admin from El Camino College in Torrance, CA with a 4.0 overall GPA in 2016, and graduated Cum Laude with my BS in Business Admin, Accountancy in 2018 from California State University, Long Beach. I have almost 4 years of professional accounting experience, including 3.5 years wherein I worked as an external auditor at a public accounting firm in Irvine, CA. I currently hold a full-time position as a Senior Technical Accountant specializing in SEC reporting and external audit support. I have extensive experience with CPA tutoring (for AUD and FAR), CPA coaching and course material development for undergrad accounting courses. I also utilize Microsoft Excel on a daily basis in my career and am proficient in all core excel functions. In my free time I volunteer as a professional mentor for various university business organizations wherein I provide resume review and mock interviews to undergraduates seeking to apply for professional accounting positions post-grad.
