About Nicole

After receiving my BA in Communicative Disorders, my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with CLAD emphasis, and my MA in Education I began my teaching career. I have experience working in special education and also as a substitute teacher. Working in special education has taught me multiple strategies that are useful in regular education too! Working as a substitute teacher has provided me with the valuable knowledge needed to work with all age groups. I have had the benefit of working in a variety of successfully run classrooms and have learned so much from those experiences!
I am a fun, outgoing, and animated teacher who creates appropriate and engaging lessons. The key to successful teaching is building a rapport with students. It's crucial to connect learning content to a student's interests. This makes learning more meaningful & fun! I look forward to helping your child meet his or her learning goals!

i have experience teaching Math from K-8th grade. I struggled with math as a child and learned important strategies to overcome those set backs. In addition to my Multiple Subject Credential I have almost completed my Ed Specialist credential. The curriculum for an Ed Specialist Credential includes strategies for teaching Math.

I have experience teaching English in K-8 classrooms. I have a special interest in English & Literature and love teaching grammar too! I have many strategies to make learning English easy!

I have been teaching K-6th grade for 10 years. I have a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a MA in Education.

I have worked as a speech and language teacher & have almost completed the Ed Specialist program at CSULB. I have worked in Resource classes for 10 years as a substitute teacher.
