My name is Katelyn, but my students all call me Miss A. I currently teach art at a parent choice high school, but have been working as a creative for over 10 years. With experience in traditional animation, graphic design, illustration, sculpture, art history, creative writing, European literature, and all types of creative expression and literature I can boast a broad repertoire of knowledge and interests.
I minored in literature in my undergraduate degree with an emphasis in creative writing and european literature. This education allowed me to go on and work as a freelance children's book writer and poet after graduation and gave me a lot of knowledge to draw from in my Masters in education with an emphasis in assessment and lesson planing.
After receiving my BFA in Animation and my BA in graphic design I worked as an illustrator, graphic designer and animator for various companies and authors. I am a two time published illustrator and have had the joy of 15 years of art experience.
