My philosophy of education is that it is my responsibility to make learning engaging and approachable for my students. I believe that every student is capable of learning, and that they should be provided with an educative experience that promotes self-motivated interest in learning. My lessons are designed to be accessible and interactive for students. They are also created with academic depth in mind, to ensure that students are receiving learning that is meaningful and meets the highest educative standards.
I have two years experience teaching undergraduate chemistry laboratory at California State University Fresno and three years of tutoring middle and high school students in a variety of areas including chemistry, mathematics, and SAT Prep. In addition, I have completed a teacher preparatory program including one year of student teaching that satisfies the California Department of Education's standards for a "Highly Qualified" educator. My entire purpose for teaching is to ensure my students receive the best outcome possible. I am willing to go above and beyond for my students to ensure that they succeed.
