My name is Xiaoqin D. I am from China and in 2017, I graduated from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) with a Masters degree in Public Administration in the field of Public Sector Management and Leadership (GPA 3.7). After obtaining my bachelor’s degree from Shanghai International Studies University in 2010, I worked as an assistant manager at MUNA Communication Co. Ltd, an advertising corporation. As time passed, I had a strong desire to improve my English and to learn more relevant skills for my job; therefore, I decided to come and study in the United States. Now that I have graduated, I have decided that, in order to enrich my knowledge and qualify for more job opportunities, I would like to continue my education and pursue a Masters degree in Accounting.
I had experience of tutoring children Chinese, maths, and English for years when I was in China. I love tutoring children for many different reasons but mostly is that good education has always been important to children. All children could be encouraged to realize their full potential. Therefore, I would like to build relationships with students and get to know them, help them to take an interest in a different language and culture.
