Hi! My name is Solomon (Solly), and I am a Regents Scholar at UCSB, majoring in Financial Mathematics and Statistics. I recently graduated from high school with a 4.6 weighted GPA, a 4.0 unweighted GPA, and a 1540 SAT (790 Math). During high school, I completed 14 AP classes, earning 5s in nearly all of them.
I have over two years of experience tutoring students of all ages, from middle school through high school seniors. This includes volunteering in my high school’s peer tutoring program across multiple subjects, as well as working professionally as a math tutor at Mathnasium. I love teaching math and strive to help students build confidence and master challenging material.
I primarily focus on higher-level mathematics such as Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus AB & BC, but I am also comfortable teaching lower-level math. Please don’t hesitate to reach out—I look forward to getting started!
