I would first like to say I am passionate about the game of chess, since learning the game at the age of five I never stop exploring the many facets of the game. I have instructed privately and within a classroom setting and have enjoyed sharing and introducing the game to new players. I approach the game with great respect and take my time going

Approved subjects
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have been playing the game of chess since I was five years old, for over thirty years. I have taught in schools and privately. I have competed in over 100 chess tournaments and love the game of chess and teaching it. I play chess everyday and will always be taking apart the many parts of chess as long as I live. Chess is Life!
