About Nicholas

Bio

Hello! My name is Nick, and I am a tutor by profession with over 15 years of experience tutoring nearly all K-12 subjects. While I have been out of school for some time now, I dedicate much of my free time to learning and reading new topics that interest me. I try to impart this love of learning on each and every student that I mentor. I believe the pursuit of knowledge to be the greatest pursuit in life, and it has been a blessing to be able to do what I love!

Hello! My name is Nick, and I am a tutor by profession with over 15 years of experience tutoring nearly all K-12 subjects. While I have been out of school for some time now, I dedicate much of my free time to learning and reading new topics that interest me. I try to impart this love of learning on each and every student that I mentor. I believe the pursuit of knowledge to be the greatest pursuit in life, and it has been a blessing to be able to do what I love!

It is always my goal to provide the most personalized tutoring experience possible, with each lesson meticulously planned and tailored to the specific needs and goals of the student and their parents. I’ve conducted extensive research on cognitive science and learning psychology that deeply inform the planning and structure of each and every lesson. Additionally, when necessary, I supplement lessons with extra practice to help solidify concepts and ensure long-term retention.

I am able to tutor most K-12 subjects (and many college-level courses), simplifying the search process for families looking for tutoring in several subjects (managing the schedules of several tutors is a major source of stress for families I’ve worked with). I also work seven days a week, so you can be sure that your student will get the help they need when they need it.

At this point, I prefer to have lessons online. I have been able to successfully transition most of my in-person tutoring online without any loss of quality. Online tutoring also provides much needed flexibility for families with busy schedules and allows me to schedule last-minute lessons in case of emergencies.
