Dear Potential Student:
I am a Cal Poly Pomona grad with an emphasis in Sociology and Asian American Studies. I have extensive experience in college-level writing and editing. I am currently in graduate school working on my Masters degree. Throughout the years, I have assisted many family members, friends, and peers in their school/college assignments (mostly without any monetary transactions taking place). My tutoring approach and interest in tutoring comes from my innate curiosity, love of learning, and wanting to make a difference in the educational attainment of students.
I view tutoring to be assistance based. I am here to help guide students as they navigate their assignments, form strong arguments, and improve their analytical abilities.
I'd like for my students to not only achieve their goals but to surpass them. I understand that every student is unique and operate under their own learning curve, so I try accommodate each learning style. I am detail-oriented, engaged, and motivating. I see working with students from all backgrounds and education levels a wonderful opportunity, one that is extremely valuable. If you need help on your assignment whether in-person or remotely, please feel free to contact me. Dear Potential Student:
