It has been my pleasure to provide you with the elements you needed to become successful on this formidable component of the ACT. It has been my privilege to see you implement those elements to produce a massive score increase.

"Very Informative"

- Brooke, Anaheim, CA on 9/17/15
Clement replied on 9/18/2015

It is my responsibility as a tutor to inform my students of all of their options in the college application process, including their options with regards to standardized examinations. The SAT is a reasoning-based test; whereas, the ACT is a curriculum-based test. This means the SAT looks more like an IQ exam, and the ACT looks more like a typical high school subject exam. Most students do not take the time to evaluate which of these two very different tests is a best fit for them. This is a major decision that should be undertaken early in test preparation. It is not ideal for students to take both examinations, and so care should be taken in this initial phase of test preparation.

"Great Tutor!"

- Jan, Irvine, CA on 9/13/15
Clement replied on 9/17/2015

"Organized & Structured Tutor"

- Nancy, Brea, CA on 8/17/15

"Knowledgeable and patient tutor. My son like Clement's tutoring very much!"

- Wendy, Irvine, CA on 7/29/15
Clement replied on 7/31/2015

"Respectful, collected, and offered good advice."

- Grace, Irvine, CA on 7/16/15
Clement replied on 7/18/2015

Thank you very much for your feedback. I only felt it appropriate that I encourage you not to lose hope on law school simply because of the LSAT examination, especially as I am a former law school student myself and also as I have completed the LSAT examination myself. Law school is not for everyone, but you should not let a difficult examination like the LSAT exclude you from law school at the onset. If you need my continued assistance with the GRE on the other hand, however, should you decide to pursue a different path from law school, I will be here to assist you. Thank you very much.
