I have graduated in Modern German Literature, Medieval German Literature and Islamic science with a Master of Arts at the University of Bonn, Germany in July 2004. I acquired a Teaching Certificate of DaF - German as a Foreign Language in March 2004.
After my graduation, I taught German (A1-C1), German History from 1945 and Literacy for adults for eight years at various language schools in Bonn. I also was working as an examiner for Zertifikat Deutsch, A1-A2, B2 and Deutsch Test für Zuwanderer.
Since I moved to the USA, I have been teaching German children and adults at a Saturday school.
Based on my teaching and examiner experiences, I am very confident to provide German tutoring in any levels.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
