AUTODESK TRAINED & CERTIFIED EXPERT. If you're a student who needs to learn the software, an individual needing to update their skills, or a design professional needing 3D renderings for presentation to a client, I'm your go-to trainer! I can help "de-mystify" the software programs and explain the features in a clear and concise way, while teaching you how to use the programs with optimal efficiency. I have assisted many students in bachelor's and master's degree programs in the design context. I have trained employees in AutoCAD and Revit. I have worked over 15+ years in design firms, (architectural, engineering, and interior design) and possess an Architecture Degree. I have trained individuals in Revit and AutoCAD for over 8 years. My expertise includes: preliminary design, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, bidding and negotiations, construction document submittals, construction document preparation, building codes, materials and methods, space planning, on-site field measurements, construction estimating, and residential/commercial building projects. I'm thorough, methodical, and patient in my teaching approach. I can train beginning to advanced learners providing tips and tricks to become an accurate and proficient drafter. With my formal experience, education, and training, you can have the confidence and assurance that you will receive the most up-to-date information from a qualified professional. Learn the programs the correct way, as they are intended to be used.

June helped me tremendously with learning both Revit and AutoCAD. She has taught me the software programs and also about building construction terminology, materials, methods, and techniques. She has a strong background in the architectural field that shows clearly in the way she communicates. She provided handouts of visual illustrations in order to help me translate my ideas digitally. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND JUNE! She is excellent and definitely an EXPERT!
Thank you Sara for providing your very positive feedback. I'm happy to help you achieve your goals with Revit Architecture and AutoCAD. I know you will be successful in all your future projects! I look forward to working with you again!
June provided instruction with many concepts in a simplified manner. I was very pleased with our lesson and plan to work with her often.
My lesson with June today was great! She taught me so much in a manner that was very easy to understand!
I highly recommend June! She is an excellent tutor and knows the programs at an expert level! She helped me learn Revit and AutoCAD. She is patient and very knowledgeable!
Thank you so much June! I look forward to continue working with you. I would highly recommend June. She's patient, proficient and knows her stuff.
Thank you so much Jennifer! It was great meeting you. I'm confident that you will get up to speed with your Architectural / Interior design work in AutoCAD & Revit Architecture! I look forward to our next meeting! Thanks again for your feedback. I greatly appreciate it!
My session with June was great. I felt comfortable immediately. I have been working intensely with Autocad for the last two months on the job but with the demand at work I felt like I needed to take it to the next level. June found some shortcuts and and techniques to drawing common objects that have helped me shave valuable seconds off those drafting commands.
Thanks so much Seth! I think you're going to do great with AutoCAD. You learned very quickly the new shortcuts I introduced. All the best to you and happy holidays! Take care.
June is so dedicated and thorough. I explained what I wanted to learn before our meeting and she came prepared with hand-outs to give me. Very special tutor!!!
Thanks so much Lori for your kind words. I'm so pleased to be a contributor in your success learning Revit Architecture 2013 and in helping you achieve your goals with the software program.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am an Autodesk trained and Certified Professional in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architectural, and Electro-Mechanical drafting. I have completed 1,000 hours of training using the software and have had 20+ years' experience in design firms utilizing AutoCAD R14 version through AutoCAD 2016 version.
I have taken university level physics and also physics lab courses at California Polytechnic University Pomona, CA and have received grades = A. I have a solid understanding of Physics mechanics; unit conversions, one & two dimensional kinematics, significant figures, Vectors, Mass, Forces, Friction, Springs, Motion, Momentum, Elastic and Inelastic Collisions, Work, Energy, Power, and Gravity, Thermodynamics, Rotational motion, etc. and much more. I am very comfortable in tutoring this subject and in my confidence level of how to explain how to work out the problems to a student who is struggling with the concepts. I have even helped struggling fellow students at the university with physics problems by breaking down the concepts into digestible components. These students were receiving much higher grades on their test scores with my help. I have experience teaching effectively to accommodate various learning styles and the ability to foster a positive learning environment. I possess strong quantitative, critical thinking, and analytical skills. I like to teach using a step-by-step structured and methodical approach which has proven to be successful.
I am certified in Revit Architecture and also work professionally as a Revit Architecture 2015 Instructor. Revit Architecture stands for "Revise Instantly". In traditional CAD programs, when an object is modified such as in a door being removed from a wall, the door schedule does not reflect the change. Conversely, if a door is deleted from the schedule, the door in floor plan remains. The reason for this is because CAD objects do not maintain parametric relationships. In CAD, the geometry is not "linked" to other 2D objects. Lines are just 2D objects that have no connection to each other. However, in Revit, objects do maintain parametric relationships. So when a door or window is removed from a floor plan, the object is instantly removed from the schedule, elevation, and section plans. If a wall is moved, one perpendicular to it also follows along and maintains a relationship to the wall being moved. In the Revit project environment, all views exist in one file and can be accessed with one click of the mouse, unlike CAD files. In Revit, as the floor plan is being created, a 3D model of the building is actually being generated automatically creating elevations and sections. In CAD to draw walls, we have to create 2D lines and use the offset or copy tools, and then project lines to draw elevations and sections. Revit takes care of this. The new parametric technology makes designing faster and more accurate, so the designer can spend more time designing! Revit will also notify us if there is a conflict or interference in the design. A tool called "Work Sharing" allows all members of the design team to work in collaboration on the same project, (similar to using Xref's in CAD). Revit also has photo-realistic rendering capability bringing your project to life. Revit IS the leading edge software for architects, engineers, and Interior designers!
