I have been an engineer with many tech companies, including Intel locally, but find that teaching is my real passion.
I know I am a very effective tutor and can motivate and truly make the student understand the most difficult material in a very short time. I have a 19 year old son myself who goes to Folsom Lake College and I have been helping him do well all his life. I have also been tutoring students for the past 25 years, throughout college, and helping my nephews...

Recently, I joined Encorp, a program for scientists and engineers transforming into STEM teachers. I have taken CBEST and CSET and passed them both the first time.

I believe I am qualified to teach organic chemistry since I studied under a PhD Chemistry professor for two years to obtain 12 units of college credit at UC Irvine. It was tough going, but by the second year I truly felt I had mastered it and learnt it for life. The building blocks of organic chemistry seems difficult, but when the pattern is seen, it seems logical and easy. I really have mastered it well for life and am eager to teach it well too. I have GCE Advanced level certificates in Chemistry and college transcripts from both UC Irvine and UT Austin to reflect 12 units of college chemistry including organic chemistry. I know this stuff very well.
