I create, validate and use Microsoft Access databases on a daily basis. I create relational databases for multiple users. I am proficient in developing and updating queries in both design view and SQL view. I can link to external data via linkages and ODBC connections.

I have gone through the language change situation first hand. In fact, English was my third language to learn. Luckily for me, I already had the chance to study the English alphabet and had picked up on a several dozen words and some phrases - just enough to hold simple conversations. When being placed in the ESL class, I strove to place in ESL 2 to take on a little challenge, as well as to hear others speak much better than I did. Thanks to the eagerness and the wonderful teachers, I succeeded and the next summer that same teacher gave me the opportunity to be the Teacher's Assistant for ESL 2. After that, I have had the opportunity to assist other students who faced the challenge of learning a new language. As mentioned before, English was my third language to learn. I have studied the Armenian and Russian languages on college level and that knowledge helped me pick up and excel on the third language. I have used the grammar and vocabulary rules and skills in my advantage - when I was in a situation where I had difficulty understanding what was being taught I would compare the same rules from my other languages and through compare and contrast method would understand the topic and remember its usage. The same skill-set will be provided for your student and other methods will be used to advance the knowledge of the student.
