I have spent the last few years finishing up my Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Before this, I spent a few years teaching and tutoring students in Anatomy, Physiology, and Biology. I taught Anatomy Lab at a local community college where I also was a tutor and learning assistant for the STEM program. I tutored all three subjects (anatomy, physiology, and biology) for a few years as well to both groups and individuals.
I have multiple degrees in holistic health, health sciences, and physical therapy. My strongest subjects are Anatomy and Kinesiology, but understand that neither is complete without Biology and Physiology. As a recent student I am able to relate to current students and enjoy the learning opportunities that technology provides.
What I love most about tutoring is the ability to really facilitate the learning process for students. As I am still a fairly recent student, I understand the struggle that many individuals have with instructors and explanations provided in class. It sometimes takes an outside perspective or third party explanation to really grasp the subject. I love to interact with those who are willing to learn the material.
I tailor my lesson plans to fit each student's needs. I enjoy questions and love to help guide students to get the information they desire. I'll do everything I can to help you understand the material. I have spent the last few years finishing up my Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Taylor helped me solidify my knowledge and take it to the next level. Without him, I never would have aced my biology test! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to prep for a test
I had direct questions relating to course material, and Taylor was able to follow along and answer all of my questions! He explains concepts thoroughly and helps you make sense of the material.
Taylor was on time and got right to helping me out with my study. He is very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and with great patience he was able to get me thru some confusing areas of my study! I'm glad he was my science tutor today and feel completely confident that I am ready for my Science final tomorrow!!!! Thanks Taylor
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I tutored Anatomy for 2 years at Palomar College in the STEM center. I have my doctorate degree in Physical Therapy where Anatomy and Kinesiology are the main focus.
I have advanced knowledge in human biology and anatomy and have just completed a graduate program. I have helped students pass Biology courses.
I have my doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Human physiology is a key component of the field. I have taken multiple physiology classes and tutored it for 2 years at Palomar Community College.
