I love to teach. As a former business and marketing executive with over 20 years of experience I always enjoyed mentoring and coaching the people who worked for me. Professionally, I ran a number of business units both domestically and internationally and developed numerous products and marketed them to a variety of consumers and across multiple distribution channels.
Today, I am a financial advisor with an MBA and one of the top trainers in my office. I also teach classes on personal finance to students as unfortunately our state educational system does not currently put any emphasis on financial education. My "students" would tell you that I am patient and able to break concepts down so they are easy to understand. Qualities, I believe, makes me a very good tutor/teacher.
With over 25 years of business and corporate experience, I have practical experience in how businesses work, from a political to a hiring perspective. I have firsthand knowledge in hiring and terminating employees (unfortunately) and just have a wealth of knowledge that you just don't get out of a book
Simply put, I have years of experience running different businesses and increasing profits and sales. I have managed P&L's, developed and launched thousands of new products and have marketed them to their target consumers.

I was a business and marketing executive for over 20 years. My most recent corporate position was as a Vice President of Marketing for a leading luggage manufacturer where I grew sales from $40 million to $60 million. I also hold an MBA from a nationally ranked program.
After getting my MBA with a concentration in marketing, I spent the next 20 years working in the marketing field. I have done everything in this field from managing the marketing the mix, developing product and brand strategies, creating marketing communication materials, working with advertising agencies, etc. I have developed thousands of new products which required at a minimum conducting market research, working with factories and engineers to get the products built and priced accordingly, and working with Sales to get the products sold. Out of the four areas I have listed, this is the one I absolutely have the most expertise in.
