I'm a degreed, video production professional who uses both traditional video cameras, as well as DSLR's. One of the fantastic things about video and photography is that it increases your personal powers of observation, and attention to detail. These qualities can go on to serve in MANY aspects of one's life, far beyond that of the simple pursuit of an occupation in the field. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
