In my view, teaching should not just consider about making achievement in high or low grades but teaching is about how much people can receive information from me and what things or skills they have learned. I am glad that people are willing to challenge themselves through day-to-day learning. My teaching goal is help people learn through play and with joyful.
My first language is Chinese. I can speak and write Cantonese and Mandarin. If you are interested in learning Chinese vocabularies and culture, I would be your best choice. In my lesson, I would assign weekly homework based on your learning ability. What the most considerable thing in my lesson is the ability of your reception and expression in Cantonese, Mandarin, or both. I hope you love Chinese and want to learn it. Even though you don't like Chinese or haven't learned it before, it doesn't matter because I will help you fall in love with Chinese. I believe that my work experience in teaching Chinese can benefit for me to quickly find the right way to help with your learning.
I am energetic and passionate to help with children with autism. I love these children. I believe every child deserve to learn. Every child is different. The best way to teach and help children is to understand their behaviors, abilities, traits, and needs. I am willing to give them more space and time on learning. Based on my learning in special education, I would use Applied Behavior Analysis, Discrete Trial Training or floor time, and Picture Exchange System to help with children with autism spectrum disorder. Also, I believe what I can help with my cousin with autism to make progresses gave me a strong confidence to help with other children with autism.
I look forward to hearing from you and helping you achieve success in your studies. My major is Child and Adolescent Development. My career is about teaching. I hope to teach what I have learned to others because I love to help people improve themselves. Now I am working in Chinese Language Program in Monterey
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am a Chinese International student. I got B.A. in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University, Northridge. I am fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. Currently, I am working at Frontiers Academy which is trilingual immersion school (Mandarin, Spanish, and English). My duty is to use Mandarin to help with preschoolers' academy learning. In addition, I am teaching basic Cantonese in traditional characters version at Chinese Evangelical Free Church of Los Angeles. My students are age from 5 to 9-years-old. I would design lesson plans through learning, playing, speaking, and listening. In my class, I encourage to speak Cantonese by recognizing new words, sharing their thoughts, and doing artworks, making handcrafts, and singing Cantonese songs. It is great fun to learn Cantonese with me. Look forward to learning with you. :)
