Since my childhood, books and reading were, and still, my greatest hobby, and because in the country of origin, Iraq, where I used to live, there were no accommodations or accessibility for people with disabilities to attend school, I transformed my home, and with the help of my parents, into a school of free thinking. Since my childhood, books and reading were, and still, my greatest hobby, and because in the country of origin, Iraq, where I used to live, there were no accommodations or accessibility for people with disabilities to attend school, I transformed my home, and with the help of my parents, into a school of free thinking. I chose the books and the areas of study for myself. Luckily, that worked better for me than the public schools that are all about memorizing the data rather than understanding them. I remember how I studied Arabic Classics, the Qur’an and the tradition, despite the fact that my open-mindedness put me in trouble with a traditional community, but I was able to have a broader view of Islamic history and thought. Besides that, I studied philosophy, political science, poetry, and literature. These studies enabled me to become a well-known writer in the Middle East and in Iraq. When I came to the U.S. in 2010 I started going to school, and from the beginning, I chose history as a major, as I graduated with honors from Cuyamaca College in 2016. Also, I did very well at SDSU in the years 2016-2018 as my counselor and the Department of History helped me, and I graduated with the same major. I remember how one of the professors who taught American History used to call me “Super Student” as I got high degrees that surprised her; I got 98 out of 100 In the year 2012 I published my first book, and that book is illustrated with 63 drawings of my own artwork, as I used to fill my empty difficult life in Iraq withdrawing, a skill I probably inherited from my father who was himself a teacher.

I published about 300 articles in Arabic in the Newspapers and Websites, and also I published two Arabic books.

The mere graduation with honors from College and the University is evidence of my reading and writing skills.

I promise you that I will help you learn Arabic, whether classic, official Arabic used by scholars, academic institutions or the media, or if you seeking to learn a dialect, Iraqi dialect, Syrian

American History,

American History

First, it is best to have a general look at Runaway Slaves in Jamaica (I): Eighteenth Century (2013). And we shall have more focused parts on some more details, and this document, which is provided for the researchers who deal with the history of Slavery, the African diaspora in the new world, and related issues to such a history, would be our case study. The document shows, clearly, a society that was based on a hierarchy of Masters and Slaves, and of course it is logical to conclude that between the Masters and the Slaves a class of people existed who assured that this unequal society would be kept alive and prosper. It would be the job of the overseers and the servants who serve the upper class of Slave-owners to “tame” and “domesticize” those Slaves, who had been brought by force to the new world. Such a cruel system would cause, without doubt, the Slaves to plan a way out.
Bible Studies,

Bible Studies

I have been studying the Bible since my teens and I have read it in 3 languages, English, Arabic, and Farsi. I know a great deal about the Jewish Tanakh, Torah, Nevi'im, and Ketuvim, also known for Christians as the Old Testament (OT) and I have studied the New (Christian) Testament both at school with Professor Bruce McGraw in Cuyamaca College where I received an A and also with Professor Bradford Kirkegaard at SDSU whereupon I got the same grade. My hope is to provide you with some new themes and a broader outlook that sees the Bible as a human heritage that is based on historical investigations.

I have read the entire Qur'an when I was 6 or 7 years old and I studied Arabic literature with a famous Sheikh in Mosul in the 1980s, Sheikh Akram Abdul-Wahab. Also, I studied the Jahili and Islamic poetry and not to mention the Hadeeth and Islamic Jurisdiction, Sunni & Shia. Also, I have published two books in Arabic, where I criticize the political implications of the Sunni and Shia Islamic Theology and my second Arabic book, in which I discuss the issue of Islam and Secularism through the discussion of several Arab and Middle Eastern authors and the future of the region.

What a blessing.

Bro. Sohel had me perform a few exercises to see what level I was on and then we got down t o business. We read and began translating Ali Baba. I'm really looking forward to our next class.

Tutor responded:

Thank you my friend Ibrahim, but you already have done a great job and you are very close to mastering the language. Looking forward to seeing you again.

Patient, Kind, and Outgoing Teacher

Sohel is very nice, considerate, and patient. Makes learning fun and I plan on taking more lessons with him. He has multiple Arabic books at his disposal. He can help you achieve your goals. He will quickly pick up on your knowledge and arrange a set of lessons on your level that is neither too easy nor too hard and he finds the right balance in between.
