School can be abysmally terrible. I know, I'm still a university student. Studying is time-consuming, concepts don't make sense, tests are hard... I get it. And I'm here to help. In high school, I was in both AP and IB systems and I graduated with a 4.0 GPA. While I was there I was awarded the Bradnack Memorial prize for upholding a high value on dedication, commitment, and integrity in every area of school life. I am currently attending UC Davis where I received A's in my General Chemistry...

I am currently attending UC Davis where I received A's in my General Chemistry and Calculus classes.

In my tutor and tutee experiences, I found that sitting in a room and learning one-on-one was vital to helping me do well in my language learning class. It gave me extra practice, extra homework, and a better sense of understanding for the grammatical structure and uses of the language. I in turn tried to use that method to teach a Chinese ESL student that I was volunteer tutoring. She was struggling with academics and bullying from her classmates, so I helped her do her homework, set up some grammatical exercises for her English, and served as a listening ear when she needed it. I can tutor to your needs in more ways than one, if you want me to.

Academically speaking, I will give a free first consultation where I will talk with the student about his or her needs and expectations and have them complete a little worksheet to see where they are at in whatever subject they are requesting. From there, if you so choose to keep me, I will structure my lessons as follows: Homework help at the beginning of the lessons for if the student got stuck on something that they have already attempted to complete (if necessary), reviewing/teaching concepts that they learned or will learn in class, and a little practice at the end to make sure that the student understood everything.

Finally, I want to be the best tutor I can be so please don't hesitate to ask questions or leave comments. :)

I received a 4 in Mathematics Higher Level in the IB Diploma Program and an 95.15% in UC Davis MAT 17A: Calculus. I scored a 760
