Bio

I have a passion for education which is why I'm always looking for more opportunities to help others learn and feel that same joy that I do when learning. I believe that everyone is capable of learning any subject with the right teacher.

I started mentoring K-12th grade students while I was in high school. I taught classmates Spanish, physical sciences, and math during lunch break, and after school and during summers I would teach theatre (both technical and acting).

Once in college, I excelled at chemistry to the point that I was asked to be a Chemistry TA my freshman year. I continued that job for the majority of my time in college. Halfway through my college career, I started giving group and private swing dance (lindy hop and balboa) lessons.

I graduated with a degree in Materials Engineering from one of the best engineering schools on the west coast, so I've taken and excelled in many science and engineering courses.

Physics is what I consider to be my side hobby, and I've done both high energy particle physics and nuclear physics at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory and Brookhaven National Laboratory.

My students know that my main goal is to help them better understand the material, and I do my best to make learning fun. Due to my extensive time teaching various subjects, I have learned how to teach and express the material in multiple ways so that I can reach out and help every student succeed individually.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any interest in the subjects I have described. I also want to make sure education is accessible to everyone, so my rates are $15-45 sliding scale.
