I have great passion for helping students and I am an excellent tutor for Mathematics, Physics and Chem.
I have a bachelor degree of Physics, Math and Computer Science minor from Yale University and I am working on my master degree now in Stanford. I had two years experience of Teacher Assistant for several subjects – Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, Calculus, and Physics when I was in Yale University. As a teacher assistant, I needed to lead every discussion session and help answer each student’s homework questions. In addition to the experience of teacher assistant, I had over 500 hours of private tutoring experience for freshmen students with their math and physics. I am able to help students with many subjects – Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Physics, Statistics, Physics, SAT Math, GRE Math, GMAT Math, and Computer Science.
Usually I will share with my students some of my own methods of learning math or science when I was in their ages. In my opinion, helping students develop an efficient way of studying is more important than just showing students answers for particular questions. I tailor different methods for students with different learning styles.
If you want to find a patient, knowledgeable, dedicated tutor, please contact me and I will prove that I am your best choice. I have great passion for helping students and I am an excellent tutor for Mathematics, Physics and Chem.

We brought Aaron on late in the semester for one last geometry test for one child and upcoming geometry finals. Aaron was great about determining where any areas of weakness in understanding were. He was patient and kind, and I could tell he truly cared about being effective in improving my children's understanding. He made my kids do the work in front of him to show him their method, and then offered help and specific recommendations.
Aaron was super easy to work with. He always replied quickly and communicated clearly. I enjoyed texting him -- we didn't have to go back and forth to understand each other. Communication process was simple and comfortable. He was very flexible too, since we had some restrictions on when we could meet. He worked around our limitations to make himself available on short notice, even when he had a full schedule (including other tutoring). He also wrote excellent summaries of how the sessions went.
We are glad we found Aaron. He helped us out at a critical time. Also, my one child that had an exam did significantly better (she got an A) than on 3 previous exams (before we'd worked with Aaron). Finals are still, but we feel better prepared having had a chance to work with Aaron.
Aaron was very patient with me and kind. He showed me every step needed for my physics class. He also tries to work around your schedule as much as possible.
Aaron is a great teacher. He has a very good way to deliver the information. I really like the way he is teaching me. I am preparing to take GMAT & we are going through different topics each week. I highly recommend him.
I met Aaron in WyzAnt about one month to the final last quarter. Aaron is a very friendly, knowledgeable and patient tutor. He is capable of explaining math concepts and questions to me very clearly and he will make sure I understand before moving forward. With his help for about one month last semester, I got an A- in the final and improved my overall grade from C- to B+. I feel thankful that I can meet Aaron in the WyzAnt and he is the best tutor I have ever met. If you need help in Math, I would highly recommend Aaron!
Aaron clearly and concisely explains concepts. He had my son explain the steps he was using to solve equations and made sure he chose the best equation in each case. He is on time and quickly returns email requests.
Very good at explaining things in different ways and making sure everything is done correctly. Sometimes seems slightly impatient, but extremely knowledgeable and informative.
Aaron is a very good tutor. I have had one session with him and so far he's been very knowledgeable, patient, and works at your pace. He's a good tutor.
Recently I missed two weeks of college and fell behind in my statistics class. Fortunately enough, I came across Aaron last minute and he saved the day! After using Aaron's techniques, I have improved greatly in my statistics class and will continue to use him throughout my college education. He has provided me without a doubt some of the best tutoring sessions. I would highly recommend Aaron to anyone struggling in school.
Aaron is pleasant and friendly. We have used Aaron for about a month. He is on time and has been accommodating with some of our schedule changes. He is helping my son with geometry. My son says "I like Aaron because he explains the material well, is easy to work with and challenges me. I recommend Aaron to others."
Aaron is a very good tutor. He is very good at making sure you understand the concept before going on to the next topic. He's very patient and helpful in explaining difficult topics. He also gives you homework so you have practice when you get home.
Aaron is a good math and physics tutor. He knows his math and physics in depth and can explain them clearly. However, we have only had one lesson together, and we do need a few more lessons to find out how well we work together.
Aaron was willing to help me with whatever I needed and explained the concepts clearly, making sure I understood them.
Today was my first class with Aaron, he is the best tutor I have ever had. He is very patient, we went through the homework I got from algebra class, I found he is helpful and he made math easy for me to understand.
Aaron was a great and very effective tutor. In our two hour session I learned a lot about the material we were covering. With his help I hope to pass my calculus final with a good grade. He is also flexible on meeting times. Aaron met with me a few days after I contacted him as I was in urgent need of tutoring, which I greatly appreciated.
Aaron was able to explain concepts in Algebra2 to my son in simple ways. My son was able to get his doubts resolved easily. I would recommend him. He came on time.
I strongly recommend Aaron G for tutoring in Geometry! I have a 14 year old daughter that has always maintained a 4.0 GPA in school for the past 3 years and she was having troubles with her advanced Geometry class this year as a freshman in High School. I am very pleased that I found Aaron - he is very patient, he teaches in a way that it very easily understood, he is always prepared and on time, and my daughter has been able to raise her grade from a low C to now 88% in a matter of one month. (They meet once a week). He is very easy to talk to and can always be reached by his phone at all times. Thank you Aaron!
My son has the difficulty in subject Trigonometry H recently, after Aaron's tutoring, I find he is very professional and have a very easy teaching way for my son to understand well, he is knowledgeable and patient, my son likes his class.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
