About Fran

I will motivate you in a fun and creative way to learn difficult concepts in Math, Language Arts or Social Studies and Science! I am an elementary school tutor who is fully credentialed to teach elementary school. I have taught 4th grade, 2nd grade and middle School. I also have many years' tutoring experience. I have many proven ways to get you to learn and enjoy it along the way! I also tutor in reading and writing as well. I love volleyball and I have played and coached for many years. I can also teach sewing and art. Please know that you will have new confidence in yourself to learn things you never knew you could. Come and learn new skills and feel so good about yourself!

Many times a student really does have what it takes to get good grades in school except there are so many students in each class that they may not get the attention they need to excel. One teacher can only do so much and with limited resources and the challenges of the classroom can deter from great learning taking place. This is where personalized tutoring that gives the student the specific teaching in detail with time for a good thorough explanation is so valuable. I will work to do just this and instil a new sense of confidence in each student so that they will have a complete understanding of the concepts that they are challenged in. I look forward to working with you soon!

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have taught Bible to my fourth and second grade students at Prince of Peace Christian School. I used the Abecca curriculum and the students learned to hide God's word in their hearts and learn about the people in the Bible with a thorough study of the word of God.
