(Attended) University of Michigan (Biomolecular Science)
I am a recently graduated student from the University of Michigan. I received a Bachelor's of Science in Bio-Molecular Science with a minor in Modern Greek Culture. I greatly enjoy helping others with understanding subjects that they previously had problems with. I enjoy watching others succeed in their aspirations, and I greatly like helping others in doing that.
In previous years, I have worked as a tutor. I helped students from 4th grade to sophomores in high school. I have tutored in algebra, algebra 2, chemistry and biology. While those subjects are ones I usually tutor in, I am capable of also tutoring in literature, grammar writing, Modern Greek, etc.
I am available at most times of the day, and have a very flexible schedule. Feel free to contact me for any help! I am a recently graduated student from the University of Michigan. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
During my undergraduate career at the University of Michigan, I received a minor in Modern Greek. A requirement for that minor involved 2 upper level Modern Greek language courses. During my undergraduate career, I took 7 semesters of Modern Greek language courses (101, 102, 201, 202, 301, 302 and 399), which includes an independent study semester dedicated to Modern Greek literature and poetry. In addition, I have study abroad in Greece where I used the language as the primary means of communication while there.
