CSUN (Computer Science)
Hello, I started teaching in 1999 grades 6th through 12th. The topics I taught included but not limited to computer science, Microsoft Office, and programming languages such as C and C++. I've then started working with the staff and administrators training them Outlook, Adobe, grading programs, and any new software added to the system.
I love helping people learn new programs that will make their lives easier. I give my attention to the needs of the person I am teaching and give her/him all the assistance to learn fast and achieve their goals.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
One of the first classes I taught was introduction to computer science. In that class I introduced the students to the history of computing. They learned the basic computer architecture which included, but not limited to, the CPU, motherboard, and terminology used to describe the units of a PC. We talked about personal computers and the security of the Internet. That class include understanding algorithms, procedures, and functions. We also talked about the different programming concepts and languages.
