Dear Students and Parents!
I am writing this letter to introduce myself as your potential tutor. I am a California credentialed secondary science teacher who is available to provide effective tutoring in science and math subjects. I have an undergraduate degree in Marine Biology, a Master's degree in Secondary Education, and a Teaching/ Administrative credential.
I taught two summers of Geometry and love Math. I taught middle school science for 14 years and am currently teaching high school Biology and Life Science online. I am lucky enough to be able to stay home with my 3 year old son while continuing to teach students in an online environment.
I would be happy to tutor anyone in need of assistance in any science, math or elementary subject. I am able to tutor students online or at my home or your home, whatever is easier for you! I hope to be able to help you be successful in Math or Science soon! I am available during the day on Wednesdays.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
