Art Institute of Sacramento (MBA)
I am a PRO Photographer who travels all over the World as a lead instructor for a photography academy. Through this I have worked with students of all levels both in the camera as well as after in post. In addition to being a Pro Photographer I also have my own Mentoring Program teaching others how to use Adobes Photoshop, Lightroom and Photoshop Elements programs. Whether your needs are creative or workflow related I can help. I will move at your pace with no particular agenda, pre designed PowerPoint presentation or preconceived notions. The beauty of 1on1 is that I can tailor my education to you, your level and what you want to learn. Not sure what you need help on? That's okay too. We will figure it out together.
I truly enjoy the education side of photography almost more than the art itself. Art has been a part of my life since little so I try to simplify the process with emphasis on learning how to help others create with intent. Thinking like an artist not necessarily like a photographer only. I think that marrying the two thoughts makes for more beautiful projects. I would love a chance to work with you and I am sure that you will find my teaching style laid back, fun, not boring, passionate and packed with information. Please give me a chance to show you what I can to help you.
I am confident that no matter your skill level, nor your computer literacy I can help you learn these products in a non-threatening, non-judge mental way and with patience and positive attitude we can uncover the complexities of Adobe products together. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Creative Cloud services, Adobe Photoshop Elements, Graphic Design, artistic background with various other mediums as well. I’m not a music teacher.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I first studied with a Graphic Designer back in 1997 when I first learned about this art. It was mostly just a hobby then but I enjoyed working with the Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop programs.
Fast forward to 2010 when I enrolled into the Art Institute of Sacramento for Graphic Design. This programs allowed me to take the things that I already knew and applied design philosophy and skill to my love of patterns, textures, color theory and graphic thought process. While I was unable to finish this degree in full due to personal reasons, I do intend on completing my degree in the future.
With the skills I have gained over the years I have created multi projects for clients such as menu boards, patches, documents, web graphics, video graphics and more. I am certain that my attention to detail, graphic design knowledge and vision can help any designer become even more fine tuned.
For the past 4 years I have been working for and mentored by 2 of the world's highest awarded photographers. Both David and Ally McKay are both Master Photographers with Professional Photographers of America.
I have taught Photography specifically for the past 3 years exclusively in 8 countries (Italy, Iceland, Ireland, Tanzania, Greece, US, Germany, Czech Republic) all as a lead photographic instructor.
As well, I have taught countless Photoshop, Lightroom and Photoshop Elements hours to students all over the World helping them uncover the magic of these programs as well as helping them to better understand photography in general.
