I am a full time student and am always happy to share anything I have learned thus far in my studies with my fellow students. Having worked with quite a few individuals from an assortment of majors and disciplines, I have learned how to adapt to the strategy which will be most helpful for the individual I'm tutoring. By strengthening our ability to understand the context of our subject material, we are able to consider new aspects and alternate interpretations which we find interesting, making the material far more manageable.

I am a philosophy major and am able to provide assistance to those aiming to strengthen their understanding of the historical contexts of ideas, arguments, texts, etc.

When you study with me, I will show you how and where to focus your notes in order to truly grasp the materials and their connections to other significant or relevant concepts. If you need help in any of these areas, we will conquer them together!

I have recently completed the Honors corps. courses including Honors English 101, and English 205 which was a critical thinking and comprehensive analysis course which required four essays of our own devising. I will gladly provide a sample of these writings or any of my other original papers with topics such as: an analysis of the works of Percy Shelley; a contextual perspective of the significance of the philosophical works of Søren Kierkegaard; a comparative analysis of the contrast between Friederich Nietzsche and Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha; a deconstruction and reassociation of the necessity of myth in life; and many others.

Philosophy,

Philosophy

I have read the works of Plato, studied the Pre-Socratics, the Early Theologians, Middle Ages(Dark Ages), Renaissance Philosophers, Victorian/scientific Revolutio thinkers, Industrial Revolution dissenters, (and voices for the good of the people against the machinization of mankind!) as well as the philosophers who fit in between these chunks of history. The main branches of Ethics, Epistemology and Metaphysics for each philosopher and wave of like minded individuals.
Religion,

Religion

I have taken many courses covering a large spectrum of religions and the cultures in which they can be found, including World Religions, Cultural anthropology, Peace Studies, World History, Metaphysics (philosophy) and several other humanities courses. Additionally, outside of school/educational required learning, I have a great interest in the whole spectrum of religious/spiritual practice, texts, belief and am always interested in learning more.
World History,

World History

I consider history as one of my strongest areas. Having been personally interested in the subject, I began looking beyond the classroom to research the historical areas I consider fascinating while still in elementary school and have taken many courses in College covering the history of the World as well as the more specific histories of particular places of the world.
