My name is Estelle and I have been living in Camarillo for the past 10 months. I am French, I was born in Lyon and came to California to follow my husband. I've started giving French lessons for my personal accomplishment a few months ago and I realized that I love doing that.
I am really sociable and I like to work with students, to search for the best way to help them improve their skills, and to see their progress. That makes me feel like my day was a success.
Back in France, I was a speech therapist, so I have a lot of experience with language disorders, which makes my approach of teaching French unique. I spend a lot of time preparing custom courses and exercises, depending on your needs, and I try to make the lesson as interactive as possible (with custom games or exercises, conversations, ...).
I really look forward to meeting you and helping you learn or improve your French. It's a beautiful language and I would love to share my knowledge. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
