Angela was very helpful in getting me to speak Italian and as we spoke, I began to feel more comfortable in speaking. Since the beginning we began to talk about topics such as the diff. of America and Italy, the cultures, jobs, school etc. She is helpful in teaching new words and encourages the student to speak more.
Today I have had yet another lesson with Angela and I feel very comfortable when I speak with her. I do not feel shy nor scared. She has been very helpful in getting me to speak Italian and to build my confidence. She is a sweet lady
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
